YOU BE THE SKY…

The compelling desire to empower human mind with positive thinking motivated Dr. Kiran Bedi, the first woman police-officer in India, to try and reform the criminal mind of the diehard criminals locked up in Tihar Jail, the largest prison in Asia, by way of Vipassana. Vipassana meditation, rediscovered by Gautam Buddha 2500 years ago, performs deep-rooted surgical operation on human mind whereby the meditator gradually rids himself of aberrations that invade human mind. Thereafter, by introducing Vipassana at the Police Training School, Bedi provided a new dimension to police-training by way of lending importance to spiritual evolution not based on any religion whatsoever.
